Angelina Jolie reportedly viewed a two-bedroom house on her own - sparking further speculation she is set to split from lover Brad Pitt.

The Oscar-winning beauty looked at the small property in Los Angeles' Laurel Canyon last week and sources claim she was impressed by the house, according to gossip website Radaronline.com.

The home is described on a real estate website as "equally ideal for a small family, single household, or couple".

Angelina and Brad have three adopted children, five-year-old Maddox, three-year-old Pax, two-year-old Zahara and a one-year-old biological daughter, Shiloh.

Earlier this week, it was claimed Angelina and Brad are on the verge of splitting up.

The couple allegedly got into a heated political debate while on holiday in France which culminated in Angelina hurling a glass of wine over her lover.

A source said: "They got into a huge fight about politics. Angie was cursing at him and ended up throwing a glass of wine in his face.

Paris Hilton is selling her Hollywood Hills crib.

The 1926 Spanish-style house went on the market on Friday for a cool $4.25 million.

"This is a very special celebrity-owned home," according to a description on MLS, the multiple listing service that brokers and customers rely on for a first look at available properties.

The house boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms an a separate guest quarter and office. One bedroom was converted into the "ultimate closet."

Hilton's publicist, Elliot Mintz, confirmed the house was put up for sale but declined to comment further.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress and reality TV star walked out of jail a month ago after a three-week stay in which she was briefly released to home confinement and then sent back screaming to a lockup. She had been sentenced to 45 days for a probation violation.

A throng of reporters and paparazzi staked out the home above Sunset Boulevard last month, capturing her move from jail to home and back. The onslaught caused some residents to circulate a letter advising neighbors to call police about the noise and traffic.

A call to the listing agent, Mauricio Umansky, was not immediately returned.

HOLLYWOOD - Usher's wedding has been mysteriously scrapped.

The R&B superstar was hoping to wed his pregnant fiancée Tameka Foster on Saturday afternoon at record executive Antonio 'L.A.' Reid's home in Long Island, New York.

Flowers, catering and even entertainment by Usher's pal Robin Thicke was booked when the "Yeah!" singer's publicist announced the ceremony was cancelled earlier in the day Saturday.

The singer's spokeswoman, Patti Webster, says, "No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."

Webster refused to comment on whether or not the couple had split.

Usher announced his stylist girlfriend Foster was pregnant in January and the couple confirmed engagement reports in June.

News of the wedding cancellation comes just days after tabloids reported Foster has a secret criminal past.

In the current issue of the National Enquirer, Foster's half-sister has spoken out about the stylist's past--including a romance with a drug dealer, who was 'executed' by a rival gang.

Valencia Foster told the tabloid, "Tameka is giving him (Usher) a big-time snow job."

The half-sister reveals she was sworn to secrecy when Usher went home to Oakland, California, to meet his future in-laws recently.

She adds, "(He said) 'You know all the family secrets--tell me about them.' Before I could say a word, Tameka kicked me so hard under the table she almost put a hole in my leg. Then she pulled me aside and whispered, 'Don't tell him anything.'"

The hotel heiress, who recently spent 23 days in prison for driving offences, is said to be ready to settle down and start a family.

A source told Britain's Closer magazine: "Paris told me, 'I want lots of babies and a more simple life away from the celebrity spotlight. I did a lot of soul-searching about my partying and then I heard Nicole's pregnant and I decided its time for me to grow up and take responsibility - and the best way to do that is to become a mother.' Paris is allegedly so desperate to have children soon she is considering adopting.

The source added: "Paris hopes to find a Prince Charming to be the father, but if she can't, she's prepared to adopt.

Paris, 26, is said to feel under pressurise to start a family because her mother Kathy had four children in her 20s.

The stunning actress says Steve Buscemi came up with the offensive name when he first met her.

Sienna, who plays soap opera star Katya in 'Interview', said: "Steve is just so rude. I think it's amazing that he calls me 'C***-ya'. In America it's a very rude word. But in England it's used far too flippantly."

Sienna is not the first celebrity to be called the foul-mouthed name.

When Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman were filming 2004 movie 'Closer', they gave each other necklaces bearing the four-letter expletive.

Director Mike Nichols revealed: "On the first day of shooting, after a couple of weeks of rehearsing, Natalie bought Julia a little silver necklace with a word spelled out in the middle. The word was 'C***'.

Britney Spears' new single will be called Get Back.

The singer is said to preparing to release her first song since 2005 in the next few weeks and has a "surprising" new sound.

A source said: "It's a very new sound for her. I think people will be surprised."

Britney has been working with music producer Sean Garrett - who has previously collaborated with Beyonc? Knowles, Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige but it is yet known if he has produced her comeback single.

It had previously been reported Britney was set to release a single from her new album last Saturday (07.07.07).

The 25-year-old has already reportedly treated some fans to a sneak preview of her latest record.

Dancers were asked to perform to a track from Britney's new album during tryouts to find two new male backing dancers last month.

The main event was clearly Saturday's, with the couple joining thousands of others around the world in getting married on 07/07/07 – a date that many believed to be propitious.

Paparazzi have been stalking the couple and their entourage for the past week, pursuing them as they partied in Disneyland Paris and wined and dined on a river boat on the Seine.

Christina Aguilera's pregnancy has been confirmed.

Rumours that the 'Dirrty' singer is expecting her first child with husband Jordan Bratman were confirmed yesterday (04.07.07).

The couple have not yet released a statement, but Christina's father, Fausto Aguilera said: "I'm so excited. I want Christina to achieve all her goals. I wish her all the happiness in the world."

Last month it was alleged the Grammy-winning singer discovered she was nine weeks pregnant just days before Jordan turned 30 on June 4.

A source said: "Jordan was blown away! He told her the baby was the greatest present ever!

"Christina's always been maternal. There's no doubt Christina will make a fabulous mother."

On June 7, the couple were seen leaving New York's Maternal Fetal Medicine Association.

Christina is about to begin a tour of Asia and Australia, beginning with a show tonight in Hong Kong and ending in Auckland, New Zealand on August 3.

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan will carry out an "extended programme" in rehab - but will not spend her 21st birthday in the facility, according to her mother Dina.

The Mean Girls actress was charged with a driving under the influence after crashing her car in Beverly Hills, California last month (May07), and checked into rehab facility Promises shortly afterwards.

Dina Lohan claims her daughter is "doing great" and will stay at the facility to complete an extended care programme, which is designed to "make the transition from residential alcohol or drug rehab treatment back into their community".

She says, "I talk to her every day."

She reveals Lohan will not spend her landmark birthday in rehab following the cancellation of her Las Vegas party earlier this month (Jun07), but will celebrate it with her family out of the facility.

Paris Hilton suffering claustrophobia behind bars

Jailed heiress Paris Hilton says she suffers from claustrophobia – a fear of confinement in small places – but that her time behind bars has renewed her appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

"I'm so much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night or food," she told TV host Ryan Seacrest in a telephone interview for E! Entertainment Television.

Excerpts from his 10-minute interview with the millionaire socialite, who was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating her probation in a drunken-driving case, were published by the cable channel's internet affiliate, E! Online.

E! is the network that carries Hilton's reality TV show, The Simple Life.

"I just can't wait to see my family and have a nice meal and be in my own bed and appreciate all the things I took for granted," she was quoted as saying by Seacrest, best known as host of the hit talent show American Idol.

The 26-year-old celebrity confirmed earlier reports she suffered extreme anxiety when confined to cramped quarters.

"I'm claustrophobic, and my cell is really small," she said. "I was going a little bit crazy in the beginning. I'm getting used to it now."

Hilton began her incarceration on the night of June 2 housed alone in a standard twin-bunk cell inside a sprawling county detention centre for women near Los Angeles.

After she served just three full days behind bars, county Sheriff Lee Baca released her to house arrest under electronic monitoring, citing unspecified medical problems he later described as psychological.

The following day a judge ordered her back to jail.

Baca has said he expects Hilton to be freed for good after 23 days in custody – roughly half her original sentence – under a standard credit applied for time served on good behaviour.

Depending how the sheriff's department calculates her exact time served, Hilton is likely to be released on Sunday or Monday.

In an exclusive interview with The ENQUIRER, the man who’s been trying to help Britney Spears through her nightmare of booze and drugs talked frankly about the tough tactics he’s used in dealing with the troubled pop princess.

“I told her: ‘If you don’t want to get sober for yourself, do it for your kids,’” said John Sundahl, who’s a recovering alcoholic and chairman of Britney’s AA chapter in Los Angeles.

He concluded that Britney has slipped off the wagon several times, but he added: “She truly wants to stop what she’s doing- she’s changed her life in another direction, where she doesn’t get drunk every night and pass out.’

Bud sadly, sources say Britney has been pulling the wool over her eyes- and over those of her terrified mother.

“Britney is telling her mom she’s trying to get her drinking under control- but clearly she is not,” a source told The ENQUIRER.

Counselor Sundahl admits he last saw his celebrity client on June 1.

And since then, Britney has been on a booze-fueled tear, sources told The ENQUIRER.

In early June she took sons Sean Preston, 21 months, and 9-month-old Jayden James to Hawaii.

“She was drinking there to the point where she threw up all over her hotel bathroom,” said a source.

Added an insider: “She later passed out, leaving Alli to handle the boys by herself.”

On June 11, Britney was back in Los Angeles, spending a girls’ night out at Joseph’s club.”

“She was downing rum and coke, vodka, and shots of booze,” says the source.

It was at Joseph’s three years ago that Britney met Kevin Federline- and the memory was her downfall.

“She was feeling sad and reminiscing- and Britney drinks when she gets sad,” said the insider.

“The real problem for her is that she wants Kevin and the boys back with her- in a life like the one she had before.”

Kevin is just as worried about Britney as her mother and the rest of the family, says sources.

“He insists she has a nanny at all times.”

The folks at Promises rehab center in Malibu, where the young party hardy starlet currently makes her home, may want to start thinking about transferring Lindsay to a suicide watch facility.

Her spokesperson released a statement saying, "The party was cancelled officially over two weeks ago. We were confused why Pure was even still promoting it.

"But Lindsay will not be having the birthday party at Pure and is focusing on her recovery 100 per cent."
A Pure representative responded with, "We wish her the best as she is taking care of personal matters at this time."

Al Pacino Talks About Turning Down 'Pretty Woman' Role

Al Pacino passed on Pretty Woman even though he knew the film would be a big hit and Julia Roberts a massive star. The actor reveals he was director Gary Marshall's first choice to play opposite Roberts in the film - and he even read with the movie's star before passing on the project and allowing Richard Gere to take his place.
